The squid

Well it has been a few weeks now and our Etsy store is starting to fill up. We currently have 16 listings of jade; ranging from rough tumbled stones, polished specimens/pendants, and a finished jade carving of a squid. The carving was done by Jayne Ananias who recently picked up the Dremel tool and started carving jade. She has a long back ground in sculpting but had previously never worked with stone, it will be exciting watch her skills progress. 

Blue Moon Jade is now on Etsy

Today I opened up the BMJ store on Etsy. There are only two rough jade specimens listed at the moment but more will be listed daily. If you search for "botryoidal jade" your will find us there or can also search for the store "Blue Moon Jade" and find us that way. For the beginning we will be listing lightly processed specimens to build some revenue. This is so we can purchase some needed tools to produce polished pieces, drilled beads and an assortment of unique jewelry, earring, pendants, necklaces, etc. Eventually we will be taking requests for custom pieces.
