Blue Moon Jade, the name created by Russell Satter for his enterprises in the mining of California's rarest treasure, botryoidal nephrite jade. Now that Russell has moved on his son, Thor Satter and his family have picked up the mantle and are continuing his original dream. We are the jaderanger lineage, we still mine our bot jade with helicopters and take extreme care of the land grandfathered to us. My fathers dream is now our dream and the adventure blossoms

Introduction
Hello and welcome to the Blue Moon Jade blog. My name is Thor Satter, son of Russell Satter (aka Thea Surasu), who was the founder of Blue Moon Jade. My father was the first and original person to mine California's northern mountain botryoidal jade by helicopter. His endeavors were published in an article during a 1999 issue of Arts of Asia. Since his death in 2002 my family and I have continued his legacy, in mild obscurity. It has been ten years now since my father's passing and it is time for a new beginning. The torch passed to me and my family has been inspected, refurbished and ignited with passion. The budding lotus seeds my father planted high in the Trinity Alps of California, I intend to help make bloom into full beauty.
Over the next few months I will be posting the correct information about blue moon jade and many photos of old stock bot jade along with new stock, as well possible new goodies in the works ;)
But by the grace of god
Thank you,
Thor Satter
